I'm trying to log into FaceTime and i Message on my Macbook and after "logging in" it says I need to type in some kind of security code which is being showed on my other apple device. The problem is that there is no other window popping up where I could actually type in the code (6 numbers).

In what OS is your mac running? If it's an older one you need to type in the 6 digits code right after the password, IN THE SAME FIELD :))) So just type in the Apple ID and Password+6 digits Code
