Hi All,
Please need assistance.
I've been given an IPAD from the US as a gift and I'm concerned should anything happen to the IPAD. Will I be able to repair it in Germany.
What is the process involved.

Apple has restrictions for the warranty and service for the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
So you might have difficulties to set up a repair, if necessary. In that case, the device has to be sent back to the US on your cost. Since Apple does not accept international shipments, you or a person you trust have to do that.
IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE, iPAD AND APPLE TV SERVICE.
Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.
