The iCloud installer for windows doesn't work

I have a problem with the installation of iCloud on Windows 10.

I REALLY need iCloud on my PC to finally sort out a lot of files so I have some space again.

But...

the Installer just doesn't works. I get an error message during the installation, and then it deinstalls everything again and that's it. I think I already did everything the different Apple support pages mentioned.

Maybe you can help.

(by the way, the error message is saying that there is a problem with "this windows installer package" or something like that)
