High Sierra Crashes
Dear Community,
Since my upgrade to high sierra (10.13.1), I experienced a lot of crashes (approx. 1 every 2 hours). The screen just turns black and whenever I close and reopen my MacBook, I see a screen failure image. Hence, I have to force shut down my MacBook. I have stress-tested my macbook with CineBench and Prime95 and concluded that just torturing my chips won't make the MacBook freeze. Actually, the crashes feel pretty random but happen most often when I am switching between full-screen applications. In addition, I have already manually erased the disk (not just using the Disk-Utility) in order to get a clean fresh start for a new installation.
I am running out of ideas and don't want to have to buy a new MacBook just because of a software update.
Best regards!
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)
