Fotos auf ein iPad übertragen

Dann wäre es das Einfachste, wenn du die Fotos auf deinen Mac/PC übertragst und von dort per iTunes mit dem iPad synchronisierst. Das hat zusätzlich den Vorteil, dass du die Fotos am Mac/PC besser in Alben organisieren kannst und ausserdem immer ein Backup hast.

You CAN import VIDEOs and MOVIES and all kind of pics from USB-sticks if you prepare them as follows :

FIRST OF ALL YOU MUST CREATE 2 FOLDERS ON YOUR STORAGE-DEVICE ( for photos / videos ) !!

"DCIM" and next to it "MISC" ( Info : Its the same way as created on storage devices by all digital-cameras )

• leave MISC empty !
• open DCIM and create another folder in it ="100CANON" ( Other titles might also work - IMPORTANT = 8 digits ! )

100CANON is now your target folder to put all pics and vids in !!

PHOTOS : Rename them to "IMG_####.jpg" ( take care to use 8 digits, not more and not less !!!! )

Example = IMG_9012.jpg - IMG_901.jpg will not be recognized !

( programs like IRFANVIEW have batch functions which makes it easy to RENAME a lot of pics FAST )

Before you transfer/import them to your iPad = create a specific folder for them on the ipad in the photo-app !

VIDEOS !! : Yes, it is possible to watch all your videos / movies on your NEW ipad !!!! ;-)

The final format of the videos must be *.MOV or *.MP4 = means you must convert your videos first if

they have a different format !! I suggest *.MOV = works 100% for me ! ( final size to be 4GB or less )

I am a windows user ( using fat32-formatted sticks / maybe NTFS-sticks will also work, then you can transfer

videos, bigger than 4GB = someone should test it and post the result here !! )

Source the net for video-converters ( freeware ) = you will find a lot !

Once you have the *.MOV - movie you will have to RENAME IT - took me a long time to find out how it works !!

The name of the video MUST consist of 8 digits ( exactly 8 !! ).

Example : 12345678.MOV ( if 123_5678.MOV or VIDEO-234.MOV or..... = will not be recognized ! )

To avoid confusions ( as the video name is not visible on the iPad ) I prepared specific folders with the name

of the videos and after that I copied the corresponding videos in these folders !

über WLAN / WiFi, über Bluetooth, über diverse Messenger Apps, per Mail, über MMS, ausdrucken und abfotografieren. Durch Up.- und Download zu einer Cloud, durch Synchronisation über iCloud Drive und Cloud oder über iTunes. Also Wege gibt es viele, einige sind steinig und schwer, andere leichter. Da bleibt die gute Frage von wo kommen die Bilder denn? Man könnte sich ruhig die Mühe machen seine Frage geringfügig präziser zu stellen. Das ist nicht böse gemeint, nur ein kleiner Denkanstoß. Wer fragt „Wie komme ich dahin?“, sollte auch ein Ziel benennen, ansonsten lässt sich der Weg irgendwie schlecht beschreiben. ;-)
