Last version of Pages

I do not know the requirements for the Pages versions but if you are indeed running macOS 10.11 you are three system versions behind the current 10.14. Apple typically only supports the last couple of macOS versions with its software releases. So it is quite possible you cannot upgrade Pages or most Apple applications without upgrading your operating system version. Unless you are requiring the latest features I frankly find that a very, very basic word processor provides 99.9% of the functionality I require on a daily basis and would not see the need to urgently update.
