MacBook Air can run windows & linux but won't run macOS?

Sooooo - I have had the weirdest issue ever:

I can perfectly install, run and use Windows or Linux, either on the main SSD oder from an external drive, but I CANNOT use anything macOS. I can't boot into the recovery, internet recovery, from an external drive, external recovery etc etc. The Apple Hardware test shows no errors whatsoever. I've opened up and examined the MacBook Air, even swapped out the thermal paste and cleaned it out. No luck.

I am really confused to what the issue could be - I mean it's a Mac, but it will run anything but macOS - LOL

When trying to boot up anything macOS it will just suddenly switch off, just as if it lost power or someone unplugged the battery.

Specs: MacBook Air (2010) A1369, Intel Core 2 Duo 1,86Ghz Dual-Core, 128GB Original SSD, NVIDIA GT320M - in good condition, never dropped or liquid damage or anything.
