Emails never arrive in iCloud Account

I have many emails that were sent to my email account h****.l*****@me.com, and these emails never show up anywhere in my account, not in the regular inbox, nor in the spam folder.

I can try to simulate this by e.g. resetting my account on Doodle.com. Such an email will never appear anywhere. But there are other emails that successfully appear. There are also typical spam emails that show up in the spam folder.

I do not have any rules maintained. What is happening here?

Hi Heiko_von_der_Hohenlohe,

It sounds like you're experiencing a specific issue where certain emails sent to your iCloud email address (ending in "@me.com") aren't appearing in your inbox or spam folder, even though other emails are being delivered successfully. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this problem:

  1. Check Email Filters and Rules: Even if you haven't consciously set up any rules, it's possible that there are automatic filters or rules in place that are causing certain emails to be diverted or deleted. Check your email settings to ensure there are no filters or rules affecting incoming messages.
  2. Whitelist Sender Domains: Sometimes, emails from certain domains may be flagged as spam by your email provider. Check if the missing emails are from specific senders or domains, and if so, try adding those domains to your email whitelist to ensure their messages aren't marked as spam.
  3. Check Email Forwarding: If you have email forwarding set up for your iCloud account, it's possible that emails are being forwarded to another email address before they reach your inbox. Review your email forwarding settings to ensure they're configured correctly.
  4. Check Email Storage Quota: If your iCloud email account is reaching its storage limit, it's possible that new emails aren't being delivered. Check your email storage usage and consider freeing up space by deleting old emails or attachments.
  5. Contact Apple Support: If you've tried the above steps and are still unable to receive certain emails, it may be worth reaching out to Apple Support for further assistance. They can investigate the issue on their end and provide personalized troubleshooting steps.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue preventing certain emails from reaching your iCloud inbox.

Viel Erfolg!
