Just ordered a new Apple Watch 10. I guess it’s coming with WatchOS11. On my iPhone 15 Pro I m still on IOS17 (company Phone, IOS 18 still not allowed!)
can I use the new Apple Watch with the IPhone in IOS17? Will it pair??

If you've ordered a new Apple Watch Series 10, it's very likely that it will come with watchOS 11. Unfortunately, an Apple Watch with watchOS 11 will not pair with an iPhone running iOS 17. To pair the two devices, your iPhone must be running iOS 18 or higher.
Since you're currently unable to update your iPhone due to company restrictions, this could pose an issue for you. You would need access to a phone running iOS 18 or later in order to set up and use the new Apple Watch properly.
It might be a good idea to discuss this limitation with your company's IT department, as it could impact your ability to use the watch with your work phone.
