5G Standalone Carrier Bundle for Three Austria (Drei)

The Austrian operator Drei has been offering 5G standalone to its customers for over a year now - well, if you don't have an iPhone. Technical and customer support keep saying that Apple is in charge, as they have submitted a carrier policy update some time ago, and Apple only (you've got to be kidding...) certifies new carrier bundles twice a year (March and September).

So my question is: will the one and only responsible person be able to tick the box this March, or will we have to wait for Apple Intelligence to automate this task? Or is it once again the EU that is preventing Apple from updating Carrier Policies more frequently (as Tim said in regard to Siri...)?

Leider nur bei Anbietern, bei denen Apple irgendwann einmal das Carrier Bundle zertifiziert hat und damit die Funktion freischaltet. In ganz vielen Fällen machen sie das leider ewig verspätet, weil sie eben immer nur im März und September, diese Updates einspielen. Bei O2 ist es ja dasselbe: Seit über einem Jahr hat O2 Standalone aktiviert - nur eben beim iPhone nicht, weil Apple das Update nicht zertifiziert.

Das Netz kann dann 5G SA, sieht man auch im Field Test, aber eben am iPhone nicht.

Moin kernelpanic,

5G standalone geht schon länger am iPhone, Einstellungen - Mobilfunk - Sprache & Daten - 5G (eigenständig)
