Small shiny dot under display glass on new iPhone, defect?

Hi,

I bought a brand-new iPhone and noticed a tiny shiny dot under the front glass right from the first day.

It’s not on the surface (doesn’t wipe off), and it’s easiest to see on light backgrounds or when light hits the screen at an angle. The phone hasn’t been dropped or repaired and came out of the box like this today since it was a Christmas gift.

I’ve added a couple of photos showing the spot.

Has anyone seen this before, and would Apple consider something like this a display manufacturing defect rather than normal cosmetic variation?

Das ist ein defektes Pixel - sogen. „hängendes Pixel“. Gewöhnlich wird das als Grund für einen Austausch im Rahmen der Garantie akzeptiert.

Tätig werden musst du selbst. Das können wir dir nicht abnehmen.

Wo hast du das erwähnt ? Und woher soll ich das wissen ?

Geh‘ doch bitte mit dem Gerät in einen Store oder zu einem AASP und lass‘ es überprüfen. Hier können wir das nicht weiter diagnostizieren.

Sicher dass es ein hängender Pixel ist? Denn man sieht es auch bei ausgeschaltetem Bildschirm.
