Extend app (EXCEL) from MacBook Air on (left spread sheet edge) to external display (right spread sheet edge)

Is there any possibility to extend an app (excel) across the border between the MacBook Air and an external display?

Idea (Need) is to have maximum space for an spread sheet (excel) and to start with column A at the left edge of the MacBook Air display and continue to column Z at the right edge of the external display- having the "border" between the new physical displays somewhere at caiman K and L (or similar). Maybe there is a change of the resolution... , that would be not be a problem.

Connecting an external display and having the spread sheet running on one of the displays only - EITHER the external display OR the integrated display ins working fine.
