An app-specific password can only be viewed once at the moment it’s created. After that, Apple does not allow it to be displayed again. The reason is security: app-specific passwords are treated like one-time credentials, similar to recovery keys. If someone gained access to your Apple ID later, they wouldn’t be able to read existing passwords and misuse them.

Thanks for your reply! It’s completely understandable that you didn’t have the password on hand, especially with an account you set up a couple of years ago. I’m glad the link was helpful and that you can now set up your iCloud email on your new notebook without any issues.

Warum solltest du so eine Funktion haben wollen? Der Witz ist, dass man eben nicht das Passwort herausfindet, sondern nur du das Passwort kennst.
