Partially wrong labelling ("öffnen") instead "Enter" symbol of Enter-Key on iPad keyboard using German layout
Using iPad OS 26.2 in combination with German keyboard layout the "Enter"-key uses for labeling/display under some conditions the german word "öffnen" (open) instead "Enter"-key symbol as expected in DIN 2137
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_2137
For example using "Brave" browser app the current page https://communities.apple.com/de/post/question?title=ipad%20german%20keyboardntering entering the questing uses correct display
Adding in "Brave" Browser app new page with "+" and entering text in address field the following is displayed - showing an enabled "Enter"-Key in blue plus as "ffnen" with is the left truncated remain of german word "öffnen" as replacemen for "go" on englisch layouts. The truncation is the result of different "Enter"-key sizes and layouts on german and non-german keyboards
I noticed this behaviour using following non-Apple apps:
- Brave browser (partial - see above)
- Adobe Acrobat (searching field - displaying "suchen" instead magnification glass)
- Microsoft Teams (creating new account)
I think would be worth to write a bulleting/notice for developers that using non-standard symbols for "Enter"-key by replacing them with words may cause such issues on non-english keyboard layouts
