Dear Apple Support Team,
I am writing to urgently report a scam involving Apple Gift Cards and to request your assistance.
Today, I purchased four (4) Apple Gift Cards from a retail shop in Vienna, each with a value of €250, for a total of €1,000. Shortly after purchasing them, I was deceived by a scammer who convinced me to share the gift card codes. The scammer has since redeemed the full value of all four cards.
As soon as I realized I had been scammed, I am contacting Apple to formally submit a complaint and to ask whether it is possible to:
- Block or disable the gift cards,
- Reverse or stop the transfer of the funds if they are still traceable,
- Investigate the Apple ID or account that redeemed the cards,
- Provide any possible recovery options available in this situation.
I can provide all required details, including:
- Gift card numbers and receipts,
- Date and place of purchase,
- Any additional information needed to support your investigation.
I understand that gift card transactions are often final, but I am hoping Apple may be able to take action, especially if the funds were recently redeemed.
