dass Du das Problem so genau beobachtet und beschrieben hast – gerade die Kombination aus „kurz einloggen → schwarzer Bildschirm → erneute Anmeldung“ ist ein sehr wichtiger Hinweis zur Eingrenzung.
Wenn ich Dich richtig verstanden habe, kommst Du nach dem Start Deines Mac mini zwar in Deinen Account, wirst aber kurz danach wieder zum Login-Bildschirm zurückgeworfen.
Dieses Verhalten deutet in der Regel nicht auf einen Hardwaredefekt hin, sondern auf einen Konflikt im Anmeldeprozess von macOS, wie er von Apple beschrieben wird, wenn Hintergrunddienste oder sogenannte „Login Items“ beim Start abstürzen oder blockieren. Besonders häufig passiert das bei zusätzlicher Sicherheitssoftware wie Antivirus-Programmen, da diese tief in den Systemstart eingreifen und beim Laden des Benutzerprofils Prozesse beeinflussen können.
Du könntest deshalb als ersten Schritt testweise das installierte Antivirus-Programm (AVG) deaktivieren oder besser , da kontraproduktiv unter macOS, vollständig entfernen und danach den Mac neu starten. Zusätzlich wäre es sinnvoll, den Mac einmal im abgesicherten Modus zu starten, da dort nur die wichtigsten Systemdienste geladen werden – so lässt sich schnell erkennen, ob eine Drittsoftware die Ursache ist.

Wenn für den alternativen User das PW eingegeben wird, braucht es 45.06 Sekunden bis der Bildschirm erscheint. Kein black screen.
Für mein Profil wurden 36,18 Sekunden benötigt, um ohne black screen, den Bildschirm zu erreichen.
