upon clearing data from iphone's icloud drive, lost my data from macbook's desktop folders worth 300gb

someone please help!

i cleared out data from iphone's icloud drive

needed some space

only have default 5gb worth of icloud data

upon clearing that, lost my data from macbook's desktop folders worth 300gb

i cleared recently deleted from icould drive as well that time

how is it possible that upon clearing 1 gb worth of data, i lost 300gb worth of data and that too from macbook

and yes, in my storage section in MacBook,

please help Thank you

Ok look , whatever you save in your Mac desktop that’s is iCloud Drive , now whatever you save in files app that’s iCloud Drive too and synced with your Apple 🆔 and if the Apple 🆔 from Mac and iPhone is the same then any file u delete from app files in iPhone it will be deleted from Mac desktop and vice versa any file you delete from Mac desktop it will be deleted from iPhone app files , good luck to iCloud.com/ iCloud Drive/ recently deleted and look if your files are there and restore them
