Pairing Nintendo Switch Joy-Con to Macbook-Pro

Hello,

I am trying to pair my Nintendo Switch Joy-Con to my Macbook Pro 2017, 13-inch with Mojave 10.14.6 to play some games. I am following exactly this videos' instructions:

My macbook sees the controller on the bluetooth pane and pairs with it. Unfortunately, the Mac does not recognize me when pushing ANY button at all. I even downloaded the same program as in the video but it does not recognize any button at all. My question is:

Does anyone know how to solve this issue so that the Joy-Con works properly?
