Cancel schedule shutdown "sudo pmset repeat cancel" command doesn't work in terminal

From macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 I'm trying to cancel a schedule shutdown which was set up in /System settings/Battery from macOS version previous to Ventura. The only way to get rid of any schedule shutdown in Sonoma is to type the following command "sudo pmset repeat cancel" in the terminal. On my iMac, 24inch, M1, 2021 this command doesn't work and the previous schedules I am trying to cancel are still running. Anyone having experienced this issue and solved it?
