Hello, I lost my MacBookPro M4 Pro. Am not sure if Find My was setup and it seems the laptop is off. Apparently someone can factory reset the MacBook and use it. I wanted to know if there is a way to know by the serial number that the MacBook is being used?

To answer your question, no, we can't find anything with the serial number.
To have any hope of finding it, the Find My Device feature must have been enabled before the loss. Here are some things to do:
1. Log in to www.icloud.com with the Apple ID on the Mac.
2. In Find My, search for your Mac, then click Lost to block its access.
3. If another Apple device finds it and the Find My feature is enabled, you can track it on this page.
