Possible iCloud Drive data loss after synchronization
Hello Apple Support,
I need your urgent help regarding a possible iCloud Drive data loss.
Yesterday, around 08:41, something happened to my iCloud Drive. Most of my folders are still visible, but their contents have disappeared.
Here is what I observed:
- Around 08:41, many folders received the same modification time.
- On both my MacBook Air and my iPhone, the same folders now show 0 items.
- On iCloud.com, these folders also appear empty.
- A few folders (for example, Photo Work, Zoom, and some others) still contain files, but most folders became empty.
- I did not intentionally delete these files.
- I did not erase my Mac or format any disk.
- I did not intentionally remove files from iCloud Drive.
In addition, my external Time Machine drive, which worked yesterday, is no longer recognized by my Mac today, although it is powered on.
Could you please check:
- Whether there was any synchronization issue with my iCloud Drive around 08:41 yesterday.
- Whether my files can still be recovered from iCloud servers.
- Whether there is any recovery option for the missing folders and files.
- Whether Apple can review the iCloud Drive history for my account.
These files are extremely important to me, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance in recovering them.
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind regards,
Natalia Kondratenko
