I bought a used iPad Pro M2 today. Touch works perfectly, but the screen feels rough when I slide my finger. It quickly collects fingerprints and dirt even after cleaning. Could this mean the oleophobic coating is worn or damaged?

Pour vous répondre, oui, cela peut arriver. Le revêtement oléophobe de l’écran d’un iPad peut s’user avec le temps, surtout sur un appareil d’occasion. Un écran qui semble moins glissant, qui retient davantage les traces de doigts ou qui a une sensation différente sous le doigt peut indiquer que ce traitement est moins efficace.

Vous pouvez essayer de nettoyer l’écran avec un chiffon microfibre légèrement humidifié avec de l’eau. Évitez les produits nettoyants qui pourraient abîmer davantage le revêtement.

Comme l’iPad a été acheté d’occasion, il peut également être utile de vérifier si l’écran est bien celui d’origine :)
