Alternate windows and OsX?

Is it possible to alternate sessions with regular OsX and sessions with windows-for-mac in the same computer?

My wife wants to run an application that is available only for windows, but I don't want to run windows except for this specific application.

So, the ideal for me would be to alternatively have sessions with OsX and windows otherwise I'll have yo buy her a new pc just to run this application (her old pc is too old...).
