Is there a workflow for switching back and forth between FCPX and Resolve in a project?

I'm almost finished a rough cut of my documentary which I am editing in FCPX. There are a few edited scenes which I couldn't colour correct perfectly in FCPX. Is there a workflow for exporting edited clips to Resolve for color grading and then re-importing the clips to Final Cut without losing sync?

The clips in question were edited and colour corrected in a FCPX Multicam clip.

You can convert the project in FCP X to an XML file which will typically be less than one megabyte, open it in DVR for correction and then roundtrip it to FCP X.

Don't know how the multi-cam will be affected.
