can you update the software of the phone that has this "USIM 2024 PRO V1.50"

I don't even know what is USIM. this phone is a gift and I don't know where they bought it but I am thankful. my only concern can I update the software on this phone? This is an iPhone 15 Plus. i am feeling sorry if I updated this phone and got damage because of that USIM thing

It’s possible that the phone is actually owned by a business, and is stolen. If you update it that might disable it if it is actually owned by that business.
