Alarm clock doesn't ring

After updating the apple watch s7 on watchos 10.4, the alarm stopped working. The screen shows that here is your alarm clock, wake up, and buttons to cancel or reschedule it. But there is no sound or tactile signals, although everything is turned on in the settings. Has anyone encountered this, how to solve it?

Several things could be causing your Apple Watch S7 alarm to not ring after updating to watchOS 10.4, even though it shows up on screen. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Double-Check Alarm Settings:

  • Open the Clock app on your Apple Watch.

  • Tap on the alarm you're having trouble with.

  • Ensure the alarm is turned on (toggle switch should be green).

  • Verify the sound volume is set to a level you can hear (use the Digital Crown to adjust).

  • Make sure "Haptic Alerts" is enabled for the alarm (toggle switch should be green).

Restart Apple Watch and iPhone:

  • Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches.

  • Power off your Apple Watch by pressing and holding the side button, then swiping the power off slider.

Restart your iPhone as well.

Check Focus Mode:

  • If you have Focus Mode enabled on your iPhone or Apple Watch, it might be silencing the alarm.

  • Open the Control Center on your Apple Watch and swipe up to see active Focus modes.

  • Disable any Focus modes that might be silencing your alarm.

Unpair and Re-Pair Apple Watch:

  • If the above steps don't work, consider unpairing and re-pairing your Apple Watch with your iPhone. This can sometimes resolve deeper software conflicts.

  • Important: Before unpairing, ensure you have a recent backup of your Apple Watch data on your iPhone.

Here's how to unpair and re-pair:

  • On your iPhone, open the Watch app.

  • Tap on "All Watches" at the top.

  • Tap the info icon (i) next to your Apple Watch.

  • Tap "Unpair Apple Watch."

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to re-pair your Apple Watch.
