Restore All Junk Mail folder in Mail app on iPhone/iPad

In Apple mail application on iOS the folder containing all junk mails from all mailboxes (iCloud, Gmail, outlook365 etc.) disappeared and is no longer visible on all devices like iPhone, iPad using the same appleid.

Mail app on MacOS has this folder.

How to restore this folder?

If the Junk Mail folder has disappeared from the Mail app on your iPhone and iPad but is still visible on your Mac, it's possible that the folder might have been accidentally hidden or there could be some synchronization issue. Here are a few steps you can try to restore it:

Check Folder Settings:

    • Open the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad.
    • Go to the Mailboxes view.
    • Scroll down and look for the "Junk" or "Junk Mail" folder. It might be collapsed under another folder like your email account's inbox.
    • If you find it, tap the "Edit" button at the top-right corner.
    • Make sure the Junk Mail folder is not hidden. If it is, tap the circle next to it to unhide it.

Restart Mail App:

    • Sometimes, simply restarting the Mail app can resolve minor glitches. Close the Mail app completely and then reopen it to see if the Junk Mail folder reappears.

Check Mail Settings:

    • Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
    • Scroll down and select "Mail."
    • Under the "Threading" section, ensure that the option for "Organize by Thread" is turned off.
    • Also, check if there are any settings related to Junk Mail filtering and make sure they are configured correctly.

Re-Add Email Accounts:

    • If the above steps don't work, try removing and re-adding your email accounts on your iPhone or iPad. This can sometimes help refresh the mailbox structure and sync any missing folders.
