Calendar cancelling events that have not cancelled

My iPhone calendar has an inbox notification of an event being cancelled, it is a concert and it has not cancelled at all. Tickets are still available for sale. Why does my calendar think the event was cancelled? How do i remove the inbox item but keep the event listed in my calendar?

There is a link in the inbox item that takes me to the email showing confirmation of purchase. Is there an issue with the calendar app itself?
