Thanks for your reply. I am using ios 17.4.1. It is a random problem Seems like a setting has been selected inadvertently. If I search “dogs” I get lots of photos of dogs. If I search “bricks” I get only images of written documents with the word “brick” highlighted. These images also have a camera icon on them. Puzzled.
Have you scrolled up all the way, to see the bottom of the list of search results?
When I search for "Cat" I am getting a detailed list with the captions "Text found in photos", "Albums", "Categories", "Keywords". But the list is too long to fit onto the display.
To see the results for "Category: Cats" and "Keywords" I have to shift the list up, to be able to see the last entries.
Are you using iOS 9? The newest version (which isn't available to all older iPhones) is iOS 17. I don't believe that category searches were available before iOS 13 or so.
