On Screen Keyboard keeps skipping line when typing on iPhone

I recently replaced my old iPhone with an iPhone 15 and ever since I’ve been having issues with the shift key randomly coming on and then the text skipping to the next line mid sentence. It’s pretty annoying. I never experienced this with my old phone when typing.

This problem is mentioned on old forums, and the suggestion was to check that it was the apple key board and no dust or debris on the screen protector. I confirm I’m using the default Apple keyboard and no screen protector. It feels like a software or keyboard glitch.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?!
