What are some alternatives to AirPort Express for speaker connectivity?

I use Airport Express 802.11n not for wi-fi extension, but as a device to transmit music and radio from my iPhone to my bookshelf speakers (speakers are connected to the AirPortExpress). It is many years old, and I recently have been unable to re-set it. What can I replace it with?
