Payment declined

I went to make a purchase using the card on file and it declined saying I need to update the payment information. There is more than enough for the purchase and even though I updated it by re-entering the expiration date and CVV, it still keeps saying failed. Getting very irritating. Any ideas?

Review this support article that has many options including the link to contact Apple directly if you still have trouble. None of us have access to your account to see what the problem is, and you will get a more specific answer by contacting Apple if that is what is needed.
