Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen Freezes When Streaming Every Week or So

My Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen has given me good service ever since I bought it when they first came out. Recently, however, at arbitrary times when I am streaming a program it will suddenly freeze and the arrow icon just goes round and round. When I try other apps then I find they are all frozen inoperable too.

If I go to Restart, the problem clears up and the Apple TV resumes working as it should . . . . until the next time. Yes, this is a short-term fix, but the freezing in the middle of a program is very annoying. And only started recently after years of ownership.

And yes, my first thought was my internet source was the problem. But, no, my other Apple TV 4K (1st Gen.) on another TV in the house was still working properly in every case. Software is up to date in both of them.

Has anyone else seen this problem? If so, do you have a fix to recommend?
