How to remove Kromtech items from background list after uninstalling Mackeeper

I downloaded mackeeper and allowed it to run items in the background and then removed the app from launchpad to the trash. I emptied the trash, restarted the computer, and and now allow in the background lists three items from Kromtech instead of Mackeeper in the allow in the background. How do I remove those 3 items from allow in the background list?

You can boot in safe mode (hold the shift key), and use Devon Technologies EasyFind to locate the offending files, and show the files in the Finder before trashing them, and force emptying the trash.

If you still have the original application on your computer, it is easier to remove by installing https://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/ and dragging the application over AppCleaner's window. It will remove all the dependent files for the application.

You should not install any optimizers on your Mac. The only necessary utility software is a backup software.

Optimizers actually slow your Mac down because they can delete necessary cache files used to optimize the Mac speed, and in the worst case scenario even prevent applications from being able to launch.
