iCloud für Windows Fehlermeldung 2343

Hallo,

Ich hab zig mal versucht, iClowd für Windows runterzuladen und bekomme immer diese Fehlermeldung. Arbeite mit Windows10. Was kann ich tun?

I had the same problem, found a solution today on the Windows community pages:

Windows Installer Error -- iCloud for Windows - Microsoft Community

Basically, the download you get on the Apple web site are not the latest up-to-date version of iCloud. You need to unzip the package you downloaded, I used Winzip, as the Zip program suggested in the above discussion’s link does not work. Then install only the AppleSoftwareUpdate, using that you download the latest iCloud and I finally got it installed.

aus: The installer encountered errors before icloud for windows could be configured. There is a problem with the Windows Installer Package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected

Das klingt eher nach einem Problem beim Download der Software. Ist denn die Datenrate schnell und die Verbindung stabil? Verhindert vielleicht eine Anti-Virensoftware Download und Installation?

Hallo Ingo,

danke für den Hinweis. Ich habe es versucht, alle Apple Programme gelöscht und den fix-it versucht zu laden. Der fand aber nichts zum reparieren.

Beim erneuten Runterladen von iCloud wieder erfolglos. Allerdings kommt jetzt nicht mehr der Fehlercode 2343 sondern ein allgemeiner Hinweis, dass es ein Problem mit dem Package gibt.

Die Verbindung ist schnell und stabil, über LAN. Ich habe die Firewall ausgestellt, aber daran liegt es auch nicht. Runterladen kann ich aber nicht installieren. Es kommt jetzt immer die Meldung "problem with the Windows Installer Package". Habe auch schon den compatibility troubleshooter gemacht, aber der findet auch nichts. Hmmm, noch Ideen?
