I will be abroad for a long time and will not have access to my trusted phone numbers. So if two factor authentication is turned on, I will not be able to link new apple products with my apple id.
If I login to appleid.apple.com and click on security the button for deactivating two factor authentication is missing. What am I supposed to do?
You can not deactivate it, it is a must for using iOS 11.
Take one of your trusted iPhones and Sim-Card with you. If you buy a new iPhone and use it with a new Sim-Card, you can add these number to your 2FA.
