iPad OS keyboard in the US has a extra number line above the querty

Hey I am from Germany and I have noticed that my keyboard in iPad OS is different than the US one. Yes I know that we have the qwertz keyboard and the US has the qwerty. But I established in many YouTube videos that the keyboard in the US has an extra number line above the letters. My number line is inside of the letters line. I tried to change my keyboard to the US one but it is still the same result. In that case when I have the qwerty US keyboard the numbers are still inside the letters keys. I have iPad OS 13 public beta 1 on my iPad Pro 11 inch. Does anybody know how I can get the extra number line above the letters.
