Looking after full version of High Sierra 10.13.6 to download

I cannot find where to download the full version of High Sierra 10.13.6. In the app store only the small 22.7MB is available, when I want to transfer it to the external USB-media MyVolume, terminal gives me back this message: /Applications/Install macOS High Sierra.app does not appear to be a valid OS installer application.

Format of MyVolume is MacOS Extended.

Current OS is ElCapitan. I like to make a clean installation and followed these steps recommended by apple: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT201372

This is my command in terminal which should be ok:

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app

Thank you Tobi, it worked!

Now I have High Sierra, but its impossible to download Pages or Numbers, because it requires OS 10.14! The interesting point about this is, I had both programs installed previously, but they are not visible in my App Store, so I cannot update them. Also the Apple Support couldn't help me. My workaround: Open my old documents on another Mac and save them as Word or Excel and then buy Word and Excel for my Mac, because Pages and Numbers are scrappy.

Hi hpammer,

to Download the full version of High Sierra, you can download the High Sierra Patcher. There you can download the complete installer. Just google for it.
