After migration from iPhoto library to Fotos, I only see names of imported iPhoto events (no photos in the events)

Your iPhoto Events should have been migrated as albums in a folder "iPhoto Events", named like the events.

If iPhoto has been referencing the original image files as folders, the images should have been migrated as referenced images. This working very well for me.

Perhaps there is a problem with your external volume with the event folders.

• Is the file system format correct? It should be either MacOS Extended (Journaled) or APFS.
• The volume must not have been used for Time Machine backups.
• The volume needs to be directly plugged in and not connected over a network.

What is the format of the photos on the external volume? Are the photos JPEGs or in a different format?

Du kannst eine Sammlung von Ordnern so importieren, dass Fotos für die Unterordner automatisch Alben anlegt.

• Gehe in Fotos auf Ablage > Importieren und wähle den obersten Ordner aus.
• Dann klicke "Für Import prüfen".

Im Fenster, das dann erscheint, setze das Häkchen bei "Ordnerorganisation beibehalten" und klicke "Alle neuen Fotos importieren".

Fotos neigt dazu, alle Alben noch in zusätzliche Ordner einzuhüllen, aber man kann die Alben ja beliebig aus den Ordnern rausziehen und verschieben.
