"x86 CPU CATERR" kernel panic once or twice a day at random (with or without user activity)

From about a year after purchase the kernel panics (then Mojave, always up to date; now Catalina, always up to date) started at irregular intervals, i.e. sometimes 4 times a day, sometimes 4 weeks no panics, lately 1 or twice a day. There is no (apparent) pattern, at least half of the time it happens over night or without any user activity (the machine does not go to sleep), but sometimes during user activity (irrespective of what software active).

I had it checked out for a month by an authorized Apple Service Point and they found NOTHING wrong, no panics! So they would not let me have new hardware under warranty.

Back in the office and clean install of Catalina it was ok for 3 weeks. Now it's once or twice a day at random hours.

It's comforting that it automatically reboots (which it did not under Mojave), so I guess I have to hope for a system update that fixes it.

Hey medconsulting,

I suggest you re-post your entire question on the English language support community. This question is pretty specialized and you are more likely to find somebody there who is familiar with your problem and who can communicate about it in English. You will get a more speedy response, in English, from a larger community that's active 24/7.
