Sonic Racing - how to play with two controller?

Hey Community,

tried this several times, but I didn’t find a way to play with two steelseries nimbus controller.

Both controller are connected and they both show first LED on. In other games I noticed different LED on while playing.

so, my question is: How/Where do I need to configure the players/controllers to play with both controllers within Sonic Racing to play against each other’s?
