Bildschirmpositionen permanent einstellen? (How to make the display positioning permanent?)

DE: Problem: Meine bevorzugte Position des externen Monitors (oberhalb des Hauptbildschirms) geht bei Neustart verloren. Die Standardposition (links vom Hauptbildschirm) wird wieder eingestellt.

Gibt es irgendwo eine Möglichkeit, eine andere als die Standardposition PERMANENT zu machen?

Eine CLI Lösung (Defaults ....) ist akzeptabel. Mit Applescript GUI scripting komme ich nicht weiter, das Kontrollfeld der Systemeinstellungen ist nicht gerade wohldokumentiert...)

EN: Problem: My preferred external monitor position (above the main screen) reverts on restart to an apparent Apple-default of 'left of the main screen'. Is there a way to make MY position survive? A CLI solution (defaults ....) would be acceptable. Applescript's GUI scripting does not help so far, the system preferences monitor control panel is not well documented in the documentation I have found.
