Touchbar not working in Apple Notes

I'm currently working with MacBook Pro 13'' with the newest macOS, and I have noticed that inside Notes, I cannot change the fonts (bold, italic, underlined) using Touch Bar, the options are simply disabled, just as shown in the picture.

I have also tried to test it with safe mode and reinstalling Big Sur, both did not solve the problem. Could you help me with that?

This problem occurs only with Apple Notes. With Pages or other apps, the problem does not exist.
