Delete/Remove/Trash .aot Files

My 2020 M1 MacBook Air is collecting .aot files of applications that i've tried - and uninstalled afterwards.

Now, those .aot files are mostly small, but some of them go up to 200 MB. The top 20 files use more than 2.5 GB. They all sit in a private folder and cannot be accessed through the finder.

Q1: Does macOS clean out these files automatically when the parent app is gone?

Q2: Is there a way to delete these files manually or with some eerie command?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2
