Apple Books offline lesen

Das Problem scheint bei iOS zu liegen, Bücher werden gelöscht, wenn zu wenig freier Speicherplatz auf dem iPad besteht.

Man kann dies verhindern, wenn man das Synchronisieren mit iCloud bzw. iCloud Drive ausschaltet, aber vorher sollte man alle nötigen Bücher laden.

Dieses Verhalten scheint es schon länger zu geben, wenn man sich diese Diskussion aus dem amerikanischen Apple Forum anschaut. Dort wird übrigens auch diese Lösung vorgeschlagen:

I had the same problem too. This fix worked for me.

1 on your iphone or ipad go to settings> apple id > icloud > disable ibooks ----> this will make all your books disappear so make sure you have them in your computuer

2 in your computer go to itunes > file > add file ---- add all of your books

3 still itunes go to your device > books > check the books you want to sync

4 sync!

in my iphone i left the ibooks > sync bookmarks and notes & sync collections enabled

This stopped my books from going to the cloud and now I don't have to download them again and again.

Ein Buch kann so heruntergeladen werden, wie in diesem Artikel von Apple beschrieben:

1. Suche den Artikel in deiner Bibliothek. Das gewünschte Buch wird nicht angezeigt?
2. Tippe auf das Buch, um es zu öffnen und automatisch zu laden. Oder tippe auf die Taste "Mehr" unter dem Buch, und wähle "Laden" aus.
3. Wenn das Buch Teil einer Buchreihe ist, öffne diese durch Tippen, und tippe dann unter dem gewünschten Buch auf die Taste "Laden".
