Hello. I bought a card in a store and when I try to activate it I get this message “ This code must be redeemed in the German storefront.” Gift card not activated.

Your Apple-ID is obviously not registered as a German one - Apple Gift cards bought in Germany can only be redeemed in the German App Store. I think that’s the same for every country. There’s unfortunately not really anything to do about it, besides creating a new Apple-ID, which is registered in Germany.

Du kannst diese Karte an Freundinnen mit deutscher Apple-ID verschenken/ verkaufen oder auch bei Ebay bzw. in den Kleinanzeigen oder den sozialen Netzwerken.
