Email address is being used by another Apple-ID

every time I try to log in to my phone with this Apple ID, I get a message "Email address is being used by another Apple ID" and when I checked if I logged in somewhere else, I found that I was already logged in same mobile phone registered.. strange!! on the cell phone is but another account.. what could be the problem?
