Mirror screen of M2 iPad to external display via USB-C (without StageManager)

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about buying a iPad Pro with M2-Chip, but I was wondering if it is possible to connect the iPad to an external display via USB-C without using StageManager, effectively just mirroring the iPad's screen to the external one?

I want to do this to use the iPad as a substitute for a graphics tablet at home, using the new pencil hover feature and using StageManager would probably not allow to display the pencil hover on the external screen.
