Microphone not working properly after iOS update

Hello,

I am writing to report an issue with the microphone on my iPhone 8, which started after I updated to iOS 16.3.1 last week. Since the update, the microphone has stopped working during phone calls (telephone, FaceTime, Whatsapp) and voice messages. However, I have noticed that the microphone is functioning normally when I record a video, which leads me to believe that this may be a software issue.

I have already tried restarting my iPhone and resetting the settings to their default values, but the problem persists. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

Please let me know what further steps I can take to fix this problem.
