MacBook 2010 von OS X Mountain Lion auf macOS High Sierra aktualisieren

Natürlich. Würde ich ja auch gerne machen, aber ich kann leider nirgends ein seriöses Image von High Sierra finden. Über meinen iMac (m. High Sierra) geht es nicht. Hab schon vieles probiert. Und! Ich habe schon seit ca 25 Jahren mit Macs, Linux und dem Terminal zu tun. Will sagen, dass ich nicht unerfahren bin. ;)

Der 1. Befehl funktioniert leider nicht.

Es kommt:

Tut mir leid :/ Gleiche Fehlermeldung, jetzt mal alles, was kommt. Laß Dir Zeit, vlt fällt Dir ja noch was ein. Und danke für Deine Mühe.

Habe jetzt den Stick mit dem

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/book

erstellt. Keine Fehler, bootet auch anstandslos. Aber beim Beginn der Installation kommt

Ist das Medium wirklich defekt, oder kann der Mac das nur nicht installieren? Inkompatibel?

Kannst Du mir einen Download von diesem Installer zur Verfügung stellen, oder mir den konkreten Link geben?

Ich habe nämlich diesen geladen. macOS 10.13.1 High Sierra by Techrechard.dmg.

Dein Shellbefehl hat wunderbar funktioniert, im Gegensatz zu denen, die beispielsweise auf Apple veröffentlicht sind.
